In short: A good logo-printed notebook has an everyday size (usually A5), a durable cover and a print method that does not wear off. In corporate gifting, the detail people remember most is their own name on the notebook. You can see our A5 notebook with phone and card pocket, laser-engraved name or logo plate and optional pen set at Aso Dükkan (in Turkish).

Aso Ajans has produced promotional products since 1996, including promotional notebooks for organisations such as Festo, Mastercard, Mettler Toledo and Yıldız Technical University. This guide collects our answers to the question companies ask most: “which notebook should we order?”

6 Criteria for Choosing a Logo-Printed Notebook

1. Size

A5 (14.8 x 21 cm) is the size used most on desks and in bags. If the goal is to stay in sight every day, A5 is the safest choice.

2. Cover

Hard covers with faux-leather finish do not crush in bags and feel more valuable as a gift. Spiral notebooks are practical for meetings and trainings where pages are torn out.

3. Print method

The print method decides how permanent and elegant the logo looks:

Method

Suitable surface

Look

Personal names

Laser engraving

Metal plate, wood, metal pen

Fine, permanent, engraved look

Ideal: a different name on every item

Hot foil / debossing

Leather and faux-leather covers

Embossed, premium

Needs a die, best for a single logo

UV digital printing

Coloured or flat covers

Full-colour logo

Possible; durability depends on surface

Screen printing

Fabric, cardboard, plastic

One or a few colours

Needs a screen, best for a single logo

4. Logo or name?

A logo promotes the brand; a name makes the recipient feel special. Laser engraving needs no die, so every notebook in the same order can carry a different name.

5. Useful extras

A phone pocket, card slot and pen loop make the notebook come out more often in meetings, and your logo is seen every time.

6. Quantity and lead time

Fully custom notebooks take longer and need higher quantities. Engraving a ready model works from small quantities and short lead times. For special days, order at least two weeks ahead.
