DVD case dimensions and features
Standard DVD / DVD-R cases measure 13.5 x 19 cm and are 1.4 cm thick. There is a disc hub on the right and clips for a booklet or documents on the left. The front has a clear PVC sleeve for your cover insert.
DVD cases are made of sturdy plastic that does not crack or deform, keeping CDs and DVDs scratch-free for years. They are a practical storage and packaging product for DVD producers and duplication centres. Black is the most popular colour.
What can you use instead of a DVD case?
- Plastic CD envelope (13×13 cm): clear PVC, self-adhesive or with a flap; stick it on file and catalogue covers to create a CD/DVD pocket. A hole-punched version fits ring binders.
- EVA foam CD holder: self-adhesive foam hub that holds the disc inside a box, catalogue or package.
- Plastic CD holder: clear plastic hub; easy to insert and remove the disc, takes little space in packaging.
